Both sides raised armies as the Union assumed control of the border states early in the war and established a navel blockdale.All these other countries were put together in america due to immagration. The civil war was finnaly over at 1877.Slavery was also over and the government power increaseed rapidly. The civil war was one of the true earliest industrial wars in american history.
