liberty bonds

A Liberty Bond was a special type of war bond that was sold in the United States to support the allied cause in World War I. It could be redeemed for the original value of the bond plus interest. It was created by Secretary of the Treasury William Gibbs McAdoo to raise money from war-supporting Americans by selling the bonds. Liberty bonds support war but it is better to buy them because you may even recieve more than the original. They more liberty bonds they get get the more effects the people that did not support world war one. William gibbs McAdoo created the bonds to gain more than what he had it was basicly a investment that supported the cause in world war one.
